Unless there are some objections, I think we should give KOTH a rest until June. If someone would like to see something done for May, send me an idea and I'll run with it.

Thanks,

I am putting in my vote for a summertime KOTH with kids involved.  Must have a kid in the picture.  June is for Kids under 8, July is kids under 8 - 12, and August kids under 12-16.

Under 8 division is longest total of three fish must be a either piggy perch, sheepshead, croaker, whiting, catfish or snapper NO trout, reds or flounder.

8 - 12  longest single redish  (including oversized tagged fish)

12 - 16  longest stringer, 1 red, 1 trout and 1 flounder

We could actually carry all divisions for three months.  Many families will be taking their summer vacations on the coast at different times, and we should have the three divisions open all summer to accomadate as many people as possible.

I agree with Big.  Kudos to him for encouraging us to get more kids on the water.  After all, "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime".
