This month will be all about trout.

Scoring will be the total combined length of 5 trout.

The fish do not have to be caught on the same day.

Undersized fish are allowed so post what you got and upgrade later.

Pictures -
You need to submit a picture of the fish on or next to a legible tape measure or bump board.

The picture needs to include a pair of pliers placed next to the fish (refer to the cork placed next to the fish for November). No dates will be required as the pliers will be proof that the picture was taken during December.

Pictures must be posted by midnight on the last day of the month.

Tails, pinch them if you want to, position them how ever you need to in order to get the most length out of your fish.

The fish mouths need to be closed OR the measurements must start from the nose of the fish. PLEASE SEE THE SAMPLE PICTURES IN THE "STICKY" POST. A fish that has been improperly measured will receive a 1" deduct.

All fish caught with fly tackle will have an additional inch added to their length. In lieu of the pliers, the photo must include the specific "Fly Pattern" for the month that identifies that the fish was taken on fly tackle in December.

For this month, the most inches wins. It doesn't matter if you have all 5 fish or not, most inches wins.

Please take a picture of at least one of your fish with you holding it so that it can be placed on the home page, it will look better than a fish on a bump board.

good luck everyone. I will not be playing this month. Between hollidays and deer hunting the rut in South Texas I will not hit the water in December.

Good luck getting that big buck. I'll be practicing my flycasting in anticipation of our little contest in January.  Evil

Good luck to everyone, I am out of action for about the next 4-6 weeks due to a shoulder injury from about 3 weeks ago and I inflamed it last week when i went out on the yak at SPI.

I'm going out in the yak tomorrow to catch some trout. Grin I hope I don't get shot by a duck hunter Shocked. I wish they would hang something on their blinds to let us fishermen know they are in there. I guess I'll have to stay out of range

I got my 5, let me know if pictures are OK.  Used the ones at the time of catch, took pictures later of 4 I brought home just in case these weren't OK.

No big girls, but some solid trout
