Realizing that the closed mouth rule is not really necessary for all fish and it can be a little difficult to take the pictures if you are by yourself, starting in November, the following pictures illustrate what I am looking for in regards to the fish mouths. This will only matter to KOTH's that require measurements.

The rule change will be:

The fish mouths need to be closed OR the measurements must start from the nose of the fish.

I hope that this will make things a little easier as well as keep from having to disqualify a fish due to open mouths.

I do not have a sample flounder picture as of right now but it will be treated the same as the trout. I will revise this post once I have sample flounder pictures.
