What would be the best anchor for saltwater fishing. A claw anchor or a spoon anchor for saltwater fishing to hold a 14 ft. tarpon. any help would be greatly appreciated.

An old ski poll is the anchor you are gonna find. Just stick it through a scupper hole. I never even take a claw anchor anymore.

The bruce (claw) anchor will work fine.

Most of the time I'm with Red Raider I use a stake out stick.  However there are times like when I'm fishing a deep water reef, in a bayou, creek or river where the anchor comes in handy.
