Mrs. Sequoia trying to beat me to the spot. Little did she know about 10 more strokes and she would run aground. Little did I know, the mud was about knee deep, so I got to work my butt off pulling her through it to get to water deep enough for her to paddle again.  |

I caught a 56" red with 197 spots today. She had a 33" Trout in her mouth and the trout had an 8 lb founder in it's mouth. I think I win June no matter what the contest is. Unless it's a liars contest.  |

Ok the judges have come up with a winner. It appears the sunset / sunrise pics were the favorite of the judges and Putters won. It was not an easy decision. A pm will be sent to Putters for shirt info.

Thanks guys  Glad you liked the photo. That was Spot45's kayak sitting on the shore before we paddled out to the LHL last month. Had Spot45 not woke up late, would not have gotten the shot. Thanks Mark! Can't wait to get the hat and shirt. I just recently signed up for the last event on the Texas Kayak Series in Corpus. I will wear them proudly. Maybe.....my lucky shirt will help me place  |
