Don, glad to have you buddy. It's "collective wisdom" with a lot of us Cheesy

But then there are more than a few of the truly talented guys on board that don't mind sharing their wisdom.

Hello folks,  O0

On the weekends and the occasional weekday you can find me somewhere out in the Galveston Bay system. We do run down to Port Mansfield a few times a year. I prefer offshore but can only make decent runs in June or July. My boat isn't as big as I thought it was. I spend a majority of my time fishing the reefs, spoils, back waters and marshes. I primarily chunk meat but do enjoy throwing plastics and top waters from time to time. I shoot video of my trips for fun depending on how good the day turns out. The site is great. Seems to have a lot more features than the others. I'm in the wholesale flooring business so if any TFF members need any send me a PM.

Heres a vid from this past spring. Disregard the cords. at the end, they're to my buddy's restaurant.

Very nice site!  Have enjoyed reading alot of the posts and articles.  Been in Austin the last 25 years and looking to move to Portland, TX next summer.  Used to fish San Luis Pass with my brother when I lived in Houston.  Mostly off the piers.  Just got back from camping at at Goose Island State Park.  Did a little pier fishing there (piggy perch was all we got) and a little crabbing with my youngest.  Geeez was it HOT!!!  Went to SeaFair in Rockport and Port A to the beach.  All in all it was a nice weekend.

Glad I found this site.  I'll be checking back often.

MY LARGEST FISH TO DATE IS A 55# BLACK DRUM, IT OUT WEIGHED MY SCALE, MAX. 50#. IT WAS OVER 51" LONG & TOOK ME 1HR.45MINS. TO LAND, TOOK PICS. & RELEASED. THAT MADE THE WHOLE TRIP WORTH WHILE. I'M ALSO A LIFE MEMBER OF NAFC:So-Tx-Chptr.Co-Chair.11-'07-11-'08. WELL, LOOKING 4WARD TO FUTURE COMMS. W/YALL! UNTIL L8r. JAMES,"VATO LOCO" Cool
