Well, well, well, It's that time again. This year we have decided to go nuts for our upcoming fishing tournament. Last year we had a blast, but this year we are going to make it crazier. We are planning on having our tourny in the month of April to try and get some better weather than last year, and this year the prize list is awesome. Please let me know if there are any questions or ideas in order to make this year even better for you guys than last year. Remember, it's all about you guys.
Prizes for first place
Slam-                        Hobie Pro Angler
Largest Red-               Wilderness Ride 135 Angler
Largest Trout              Ocean Kayak Trident 11
Largest Catfish-           ?, but it will be good.
We will also have all of the other prizes like last year, but in bigger quantity. Lets make this years Tourny a great one.

Are you going to need volunteers to help the day the tournament? If so I can get a few of my students to help out.

LLM}HLO, yes we will be having kayaks on the site for anyone needing one, and Mr. Zarate, we will be having the tournament on April 21, 2012 and we will be launching from Dolphin Cove. There is an update message on this board for more info, or give me a call or stop by the shop for more info. Thanks again.

A lot of people are calling with some really good questions, so I want to take some time to explain, the registration fee is $50 for the ENTIRE Tournament, NOT each category, now, you can use bait, or lures, you can have more than 1 rod, but no more than 3, you do not have to choose a certain category before you launch, you can CHOOSE what category to enter when you come back depending on what you catch, but you can only WIN in one of the categories. We will have a board set up with the results as each angler comes in. Our Tournament is designed to maximize on the number of winners. Remember, It's all about having a blast out on the water. Thanks again. Tony, U.B. Captain Kayaks. 956-761-1669

Spoke with Rogelio Salazar, Final draft of Rules and Regs is complete, he will post them on our facebook page (U.B. Captain) under page listings, one of the things I read in the regs is the entry fee, it is $50 to enter, participants may enter up to (3) days prior to the tournament under that fee, after that there will be a late entry fee of an additional $10 for late entries, we will be set up at the Captains meeting to take payments, but keep in mind that the Captains Meeting is 1 day before the tournament and there will be a late fee, you may call the shop number (956)-761-1669 in order to pay over the phone. We plan on having a cookout the day of the Captain's Meeting as well as the day of the tournament, having everyone pre-pay will give us a better number of supplies needed for both days. I appreciate everyone's understanding on this matter. Any questions please feel free to call me. Thanks Again, TOny, U.B. Captain (956)-761-1669
