Headed out about 6:30 and got our usual early morning breakfast..Docked about 7:15ish and got to our spot and began fishing by 8ish..Lots of black drum all over the place and within 3 or 4 cast Cel was able to hook onto one..we  drifted into much clearer water and the bite was on and never let up..Cast after cast and we managed to haul in red after red and trout after trout..We had to have caught atleast 20-25 reds and about 20-25 keep trout but before we started fishing we agreed to only keep trout bigger then 17inches..we threw back multiple 15's and 16's..Ended our day with a huge blow up AGAIN for Cel which she was able to land a beautiful 28 1/4 in trout..CPR was not used this day because man are we low on fish.. Grin...Ended our day with 9 take home reds 12 take home trout and a black drum..Great day on the water once again..Thanks Cel.........The third image is from Tuesday 1/3/12 when it was super cold went out and was able to bring back 5 reds and 3 trout.

We had a fun day out...It was nice to have a consistent bite!  The highlight of my day was catching that nice trout on a topwater...hadn't had a solid blow-up like that in a loooong time.   Smiley  Also, I hadn't seen boat traffic like that in a looong time.  I don't keep up with the hunting seasons, but I'm guessing it's winding down.  Getting in and out of drifts was a challenge in itself, but thankfully I didn't see any inconsiderate boaters.  Sooooooo....now comes the family fish fry  Grin

Post a picture of your boat.  You may be limited to deeper water drifting, if I remember right bayseekers are not known for shallow water fishing.
