Well I took out my Dad and a buddy of mine today. I had one goal today, and that was to put my dad on his first keeper redfish ever! We started our first drift at about noon, I set up my dad with liquid shrimp from TTF and before I was able to rig my lure on, he hooked onto 2 rat reds. Then my buddy gets the first keeper at 25 inches. From there on after, it was nothing but redfish. My dad ended up not only catching his first keeper redfish, but his limit of 3 before I caught my limit. Finally the trout came in and I caught 4 trout, 2 of them being at 21 inches. We took home 8 reds and 5 trout. Pumpkin minnow, salt/pepper hustler, and liquid shrimp were what they hit today. Fish were in the shallows!
