What a way to finish the Year Nothing Beats ending the Year with my parents and get them on some fish. Was kinda bummed out since the morning was
really heavy in FOG visibility was about 30ft which on the water makes it almost impossible to look for spots. So all morning runing to areas where i can see close to lCW. Low tide didnt help either. SO anchored and decided to wait the fog to clear up. Went to Drum Boat about noon and no luck saw lots of scatered sheep head around the flats and clear water. drifted to see if I could get any on lures and no luck. Moved around saw some activity around GAS WELL FLATS and picked up a dinker released, then another keeper 17 first one boxed. drifted back around and moved a bit east and kept casting untill from on top of my tower saw reds scatered. Changed my color of lure and BAM started hitting them picked up 2 on the first drift then another long drift 3 and so forth. Got my parents some mullet and chunked under popping cork. and BAM mom hits red and dad hits trout. TOTAL between us 7 reds 24 inches-27 biggest. 5 trout 17-20 inches. MOM won throphy between us with biggest fish of the year 27 7/8 inch red. Hopefull i can beat that this year my closest one was 27 1/2. Video coming soon

Cograts on the trip. With deer season winding down it is time to take my reels in for a good cleaning and start planning my trips out to the water again.
