December 26,2011  "Catch & Release Day"   Caught a limit of Specks (if we were to keep them) in about 45 minutes from launching the boat. At least a dozen 17' to 19" Speckled Trout hit TTF Trout Killers almost dead still on the bottom. After the Specks slowed down , it was not long before we got into the Redfish. All morning long we must have caught 2 dozen Redfish. Often when we caught one, we would double up and catch two at a time. I don,t think they cared what color, as long as it was in front of them. We did not catch a Speck for at least at couple of hours (all we could catch were Redfish and a few Flounders). Finally around 10 o'clock we started catching Specks again, and big Specks at that. After losing the first one, we shifted gears and boated 4-5 Speckled Trout over 20". The bite just fell off around noon, the wind picked up, and we were kind of getting tired. Not a record day, but not bad by any means. The winter fishing is not for everyone, but if you don't mind the cold weather, you can catch a lot of really nice fish.www.luckylindycharters.com

No Sunshine, 70% chance of rain, 40 degrees starting, 50 degree high, and when I got to the boat ramp I realized I forgot my heavy coat! The only thing shiney were the sides of the Redfish & Speckled Trout. Had a really good day, would be happy to do it again! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
