Thanks for fishing with me Mike it is always fun to have you on the boat or when I get to get on yours. That trout was my biggest on topwater to date. I normally do not like to fish with topwaters but I told Mike that morning something was telling me to fish a topwater and it just felt right. I was on the poling platform on my boat and watched the fish come up hit the lure and go back down with it. It was awesome to watch it happen. I am not saying I am a topwater guy but now but when it feels good I will definitely do it more often. LOL

There was a ton of nice black drum in those schools we drifted over . It was neat to see a few reds mixed in with the blacks.

I kept a few smaller trout for a Christmas fish fry with a few friends and it was awesome. Nothing beats fresh trout fried up in some hot grease.  Grin
