I fish all of  the LLM and out in the arroyo and some fresh water out in the private lake in La Joya.

the arroyo is awesome for kayaking you get all kinds of fish if your at the right spot at the right time! I hooked a tarpon once and have seen them way up in the arroyo.
and yeah a buddy of mine is a member of la joya lake so i fish there often great for bass and also huge gar there! i hooked a 7 footer last Wednesday but i didnt set the hook right.

Sweet kayak! I went out for the first time on Monday with my new to me Outback. Had a blast. I have a place on the Arroyo and can't wait to head out there on the yak. Maybe I'll see you out there some time.
