Does anyone know if the BPS in Harlingen is up and running? If you all have any information I would appreciate it.

                                  Thanks!

I've seen it here from one of the members who will be working here about mid-November as I recall.

Sounds good to me, next trip down will be flying in on 12/18 so it should be fully stocked.  Will work for plastic bait Grin

I"ll hold my opinion until I have seen the store and selection, which will not be till about the end of January or the beginning of February.

We have one in San Antonio...I do not like it..very expensive..you are better off going to academy.   better selection..cheaper price.. lots more saltwater selection.

We have 2 BPS in the Houston market. I don't shop at either one. Academy has an equal saltwater selection and better prices.  If I were a clothes shopper then BPS would have my buisness. Seems like they are mor into selling clothes.

Gone twice to the BPS and only bought a reel cover, knife, and a cup.  Smiley  Not much in the way of saltwater gear.  My question is why so many Freshwater boats?  I lived all my life here in the Rio Grande Valley and there are no Freshwater lake that I know of that have boat access. The only local lake would be Falcon which is a good ways away from where I live.  I agree Academy has a better selection of Saltwater gear.  I guess it would not be called BPS if it only sold Saltwater Gear. I went on Black Friday and picked up a Caldwell Lead Sled for $49.99. I was disappointed in the selection of merchandise in the store.
