 Huh?
Has anyone tried braided line, like Suffix 382, on a Zebco 808 or 404?

I have not tried it. My concern is the line twist you would get and picking one out would be a real problem.

I have several zebcos.  I have used the 808s and 404s at Port Aransas for at least twenty years.  I resent the line stretch of mono and want to start spooling braided.
The zebco 808 bowfisher comes with 80lb mono and I suspect that braided will do just as well.  I guess my real question is why not?
