Just wondering what your favorite set up is and how do you work it. Do you have a favorite color or do live and die live bait?

I myself like a 7/O hook thru the head of dead finger mullet. Rip off the tail to keep bait from spinning too much when retrieving and it lets out a little aroma. Work it like a Skitterwalk and reap the results...

I do not reveal my favorite color lures. I go between a spoon and gulp shrimp on a 1/8 ounce jig head.

I used to have success with Gulp shrimp with a jig head, but found that I can cast Gulp shad and mono leader just fine. Sort of a top water lure - I like the electric chicken and so do trout. I fish at night, usually under lights and mostly from piers and jetties 'cuz ah 'aint go no boat.

There are only 2 color spoons and the color of the Gulp shrimp changes with the conditions.

Used to always use those rockport rattlers ... But the casing for the ball always seemed to break .. After a few fish it is just a regular old jig head!  And they are pricey!
