I have heard lots of good reviews about this place. How can I get there. I am familiar with the park. Which way do I paddle and how far.

many times i overlooked the posts about getting a  map like hook n line.   it does help if used.

u can also google map port mansfield. zoom in to where you can identify the piers, then just north you will see what appears to be a big floater perpendicular to shore.

its huge.  ur suppose to be able to walk too and from it on a low tide. have never tried it though.

Dude.... If u zoom all the way in on Google Maps, you can clearly see 2 yaks on the south of the bar and what appears to be a couple of waders on the north side.... I use Google all the time.... big help....
