Just wanted to share with you all my friends.. That I’m a very proud fishing parent, my little buddy (Dominick Serrato 12yr old) he was lucky enough to get first place on Dargel kids divicion with a nice 22in 2 spots red fish that was turn in to the judge before lunch. The tournament was GREAT we were able to meet alot TFF members and as we all know fishing is all about spending quality time with the family...I know for a fact that my son will remember that day/tourny forever and his reaction of surprise that day was priceless to me..
I wanted to Thank Dargel and Jeff for such a nice tournament, we enjoy every minute of it.

I was fishing on my buddies Explorer and I saw you zip right by about 11:45ish...
I then told my buddies, "I wonder if he caught that 6 spotter again."

Congrats to your boy Potro! My 8 year old caught a nice 4 spot red too early in the morning, but it is a game of inches and his was 19 1/2. We had to release it  Last tournament we had amongst friends I hadn't registered him and he out fished us with the biggest red which was 26. He is also the one who caught a nice 13 spot 26 inch red last year is south bay. I see a pattern maybe I should start netting his fish LOL. Great tournament and glad to see they had a kids division for them. Can't wait to put him in future kids events. |
