What is the consensus on what works?  The aluminum on my boat hasn't been done in a couple years and just doesn't pop like it used to

I have used NEVER DULL silver and black can you can buy it at wal mart or auto part store.

Little late on this, but as someone who has studied corrosion control on naval aircraft, you have to be careful removing corrosion from AL.  The aluminum oxides form a barrier that stop further corrosion on some alloys.  Polishing them may be working against yourself

Good thing I never got around to it then.  For all I know the boat might not even be in the shop as it hasn't been used in a few months and not sure the last time I looked in to see if it's still there.
