TFO 7' 6" Medium.....Great for the reds
All Star 7'6" Trout Series great for Trout....
Had an All Star Red Series which was great just couldn't take a beating....
Looking for my third rod, but I will probably go with a Stiffy rod...
I've had two of them, but I've been testing the waters.

Use the Wright McGill Sabalos 3000.....great reel for the price. I've had them for two years now with no problems.

When it comes to customer service, it is hard to beat Carson at Waterloo. I can tell you about 2 different instances of his customer service and both are great service.

1) When I bought my wife's Waterloo the rod was not ready when promised and had the wrong eyes on the rod, Titanium instead of stainless steel. Carson apologized for the mistake and the rod not being ready. Carson then shipped the rod at no cost to me and left the titanium recoil guides on the rod. I was very impressed with Carson for doing that because he took about a $100-125 loss on the rod.

2) A good friend of mine, Cody, order a rod from Waterloo and Carson brought down to the outdoor show and even gave Cody a discount on the rod because it took so long to get through to place the order. The order was placed during the middle to the end of June, and I know the guys were swamped with orders for tournaments, and upcoming fishing/outdoor shows.

I am not trying to make excuses for the service, Carson does what it takes to make and keep his customers happy. If you want great customer service Waterloo is hard to beat.
