We caught only 8 whites in about an hour last Saturday at north of lake Travis in Marble Falls, but the good news is that 6 out of 8 were females with full of mature egg and the males were full of milk.  Seem like running season's gonna be earlier than usual this year.  Silver spoon, white plastic grub, or plastic glass minnow is effective.
