We should know something on the permit in a few days. It has been a long two weeks, don't you think? I hope that we are going to be able to close this chapter and move on. I will let you know as soon as I know. Thanks for hanging in there, God only knows that it is about time.

Thank you Lynn for all you've done! I wish I could express my opinions of the people that have delayed this so long, but I'm afraid I'd just cause more delays. Rest assured that I am not a "Happy Camper" with these people!

Thanks again,
Jim aka Tha Dawg.

There was not supposed to be any more questions, however, Carlos will be answering the last of the comments from all agencies, it goes back to the Corps, and all in all the permit should be coming in around  4 weeks. After all,it's only been 6 years in the working. At this point in time, I will set and wait until I know that the permit has been issued. I can't help but to think of some other battles frought in Texas. 175 years ago, Texas soldiers lost the Battle of Agua Dulce, The Alamo would fall four days later. Two weeks later, the Battle of Refugio would be lost by Texian forces, Eighteen Days later, Texas forces would lose the Battle of Coleto, Three weeks later, the Goliad Massacre would terrorize the infant Republic, The Runaway Scrape, the mass flight of Texans to excape the fury of Santa Anna was getting under way. Texas was losing every battle, and Texas was losing the war. In the face of catastrophe, with no rational hope, Texans did the only thing they could do. They frought on. They refused to surrender their liberties. They declared independence. The fifty-nine signatories of the Texas Declaration of Independence occupy a roll of honor in our history. Their names will resound through the ages not because they won-- they did not know they would---but because their cause was just. This cause is just, and one day your names will occupy a roll of honor in our history. In the face of great challenges, we have worked every day to get to this point in time, and closer to getting those historical passes open and flowing. This could not have happen without all of you. The dedication of those who declared Texas' Independence is worth remembering, this battle, will never be forgotten. Take a moment to reflect on the bravery of the men and women who made Texas a nation shapes us still--and if we remember and understand it, it makes us our best selves.

Everything including the kitchen sink has been sent in to the CORPS, it is in their court now. From what I hear, the CORPS will be working on the decision document. How long that will take, God only knows.

I will throw in my kitchen sink as well if that will help, Lynn! And I challenge all Texasflats members to send our dirty undies to the CORPS if they don't hurry with a favorable decision soon. Let's get creative, people!

Leave it up to you Old Plugger Roll Eyes. Now envision this, truck loads of undies going to the CORPS, Grin, now that's funny right there Grin. It is awesome that we still have our sense of humor left.
