Not a word out of them yet. Everything that could be done has been done on our part and in a timely fashion. The CIAP grant has been sent in and there is nothing else for us to do but wait. I was told by Col. Sallese that after Carlos sent in the last plans as to the place that the sea grass was to be replanted that it would be about 2 weeks, that was 5 weeks ago. I am hoping to see the permit some time this month, but we shall see. The second that I hear something, all of you will be the first to know.

I think I smell a stinking bass fouling the air again. My "tea leaves" say trouble.

OK, here is an up date. Friday I talk to Carlos and the CORPS was still setting on the permit. It appears that the site that everyone agreed on was to close to someones site and was complaining about it. The CORPS as you all recall said that it would be in about 2 weeks, seems that they can not keep their word. On Monday Judge Mills called and they told him that the permit would be sent out for comment that day. This will go for 15 days and then we are supposed to be getting the permit around Dec. 1st. Are you laughing about now because I am. On and On we go. I guess my report will be going in a little ahead of theirs. Goes to show you that you just can't trust anyone any more. I will be back before Dec. 1st with my up date. As I said before, THEY NEED TO GO!!!!!

Ok, an up date! The permit should be issued any day now, UNLESS, the CORPS can find another reason not to give it up. Everything that can be done has been done, all of the concerns have been addressed, but as all of you know things can go south for any little reason. One delay after another. However, I am hopefull that it will be in soon. I will let you know the second that it comes in. This one will go down in the history books for sure. Hang in there just a little while longer. Thanks everyone.
