So ran down the Lydia-ann Channel till where it turns right and heads to Rockport. Ran into a large school of Menhaden so cast netted 100-200 baits.. Then ran up to the Fina docks since the tide was about to shift.. Got into a school of Reds anywhere from 24-40inches cuaght reds till are arms fell off.. Put the 30Trinidad and the 30Torium to them and still wore us out.. We broke off more than we got in even with 80lbs braid with 80 lbs mono leader..There is so much old steel in the water there had to put the hurt to them quick. Just kept 2 reds though I dont like the big ones to eat..Even my son got into the Reds..LOL

How deep did you find them? I think the water there is about 35 feet deep.

35-45ft.. Didnt matter as long as you had the right bait.. This time of year they get keyed into one thing..
