Me and my youngest boy went out today and his a grand slam. Caught 2 trout 18" and 17". 1 red 20" and a flonder 17". We hit alot of small red and trout even hit a drum on a gulp. Most all the fish we cught had swallowed the hook so the fish bite was there. Water was very good and the fish are there. We lost alot of big fish with break ofs. I forgot my jigs head for my cork rigs so used some little round egg weights. I think when we squished them on the line by the hook it weakend the line and was makeing us loose fish. By the time I figured it out 3-4 big reds were lost. we changed it up and caught fish.

It was a funny trip. My son is getting ready to back to College Station next week and we hadnt been out. Well sobermike took his boat out to so we figuered if we broke down he could pull us in. We limped out there about 15 mph and my boy had to get all the way on front to get o plane but we made it. Cant wait till 115 is ready and on.
